Artwork Drop-off: Saturday, October 22 from 10:00 – 2:00pm or by appointment.
You will be notified if your artwork is not accepted. A pick-up date and time will be arranged.
Artwork Pick-up: Sunday October 30 from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Do not remove your artwork before 4:30pm.
Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony: Friday, October 28 from 7:00-9:00 pm

- Best in Show (recipient is not eligible for the same award for the following year)
- Best in Categories (works by 3 different artists in a medium qualifies as a category)

Eligibility Requirements:
- Open to all residents of Ontario 18 years of age and older
- Works must be original and not based on another’s work. Personal photographs may be used as a reference. Other photos may be used as a reference, but not replicated as complete copies. Works must not be reproductions.
- Works may be in any media
- Works must not have been previously shown at Franklin Carmichael Art Centre
- Paintings must be ready to hang with screw eyes 3 inches down from the top of the work. For large paintings, the screw eyes placed so that the painting hangs flush to the wall. The wire should be taut.
- Wet paintings, faulty wires, insecure frames and unfinished sides of canvases will not be accepted.
- Labels for entries are on a separate insert. Complete two for each painting attach one to the front & one to the back. Make sure that what you say on the tags is the same as your application form.
- Fees: Are non-refundable. There is a 15% commission on all sales at the show. Purchasers will make their cheques payable to FCAG directly and then the artist will be paid the price of the painting minus the 15% commission. The artist is responsible for the delivery of the painting to the buyer.
- A cheque will be processed for the artist within 10 days.

Please note: we are a volunteer based group and are always looking for volunteers. If you wish to volunteer for this event we are looking for hostess, greeters, hanging crew, set up, tear down, and take in. Please contact us at fcag.art@gmail.com to let us know your availability for volunteering. High School Student? No problem we offer great opportunities to attain your volunteer hours.
