Maria Reynolds
President
Maria is a resident of Rexdale, a former elementary school teacher, and a long-time member of the Franklin Carmichael Art Group. She believes that engaging in the Arts enhances one’s experience of the world. In 2019, she was nominated to the Franklin Carmichael Art Group Board of Directors; she was appointed President in 2021. Bringing a variety of experience and skills to the role, Maria helped FCAG pivot in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the organization returns to regular programming, Maria looks forward to building on this momentum to continue to engage and support members.

Anabel Da Silva
Vice President
Anabel moved from Montréal to pursue a career in education first with the French Language Catholic Board and later with the French Language Public Board. Now retired, she still works as a part-time liaison for student placements. Anabel has been an FCAG member since 2013, taking part in multiple classes and workshops. She has also volunteered at shows and participated in activities organized by the center before joining the Board.

Chris Buckingham
Treasurer
Christopher retired after a successful career in Technical Sales and Product marketing with IBM. Since retiring he has spent the last thirteen years volunteering for various organizations in the Toronto area. His introduction to the Franklin Carmichael Art Group came by way of his wife Nancy who has been a student then teacher with FCAG for many years.

Colleen McMichael
Director
Colleen McMichael was first introduced to the Franklin Carmichael Art Group in 2023 while taking a course in water colour painting.
After graduating from Humber College in Early Childhood Education and Special Education she worked in the City of Toronto Day Care Centers and the became the Integration Teacher in Etobicoke.
She then worked at the Head Office for sometime before Working at Kipling Acres Home for the Aged until retirement.
During this time she also became involved with Ernestine’s Shelter for Women, Youth Without Shelter and The Furniture Bank.
