Time: Fridays from 10:30 pm to 1 pm starting May 1, 2026

Duration: 6 weeks

Location: Franklin Carmichael Art Centre (34 Riverdale Dr, Etobicoke)

Studio: June Thomson Studio (main floor)

Fees: $120 (members) / $160 (non-members)

Drop-ins Welcome: $35 for members, $50 non-members

No refunds once classes have started, credit card refunds are subject to service fee

Two extension classes might be added at the end of the session if there are enough participants interested.

Materials to Bring to Class:
  • Canvas (11”x14” recommended)
  • Brushes
  • Palette (StayWet palette recommended for Acrylic Paints)
  • Acrylic/oil paints (Colours suggested: ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, permanent rose/cadmium red, alizarin crimson, yellow ochre, lemon/cadmium yellow, burnt umber and titanium white)
  • For acrylics: thinning medium
  • For oils: oil medium (e.g. linseed or walnut oil) and odourless mineral spirits for cleaning
  • Pencil
  • Paper towels
  • Table cover (a large garbage bag works fine)
