Watercolour with Nancy
Daytime Class (Beginner/Intermediate Level)
Instructor: Nancy Buckingham
Time: Thursdays from 10 am to 12:30 pm, starting Sept 18
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: Franklin Carmichael Art Centre (34 Riverdale Dr, Etobicoke)
Studio: June Thomson Studio (main floor)
Fees: $160 (members) / $200 (non-members)
Drop-ins Welcome: $35 for members, $50 non-member
Description:
Nancy will be teaching beginners and intermediates in this inclusive and welcoming class. The focus will be on each individual's growth, with attention to the fundamentals. Painting demonstrations will be the backbone of each class.

- Watercolour paints; recommended colors: French Ultramarine blue, Cobalt blue, Cerulean blue, Winsor yellow, Aureolin yellow, Raw sienna, Burnt sienna, Alizarin crimson, Hookers green, Sap green, Permanent Rose (Note: feel free to bring whatever colors/supplies you have)
- Brushes (a few different sizes)
- Cold pressed paper (Arches 140 lb)
- Paper towel
- Pencil and Kneaded eraser
- Masking tape and board for painting

Daytime Class (Intermediate/Advanced Level)
Instructor: Wendy Bannerman
Time: Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm starting Sept 17
Duration: 8 weeks

Marta Kolotylo — Art Instructor – Watercolour
Marta is a mixed media artist and watercolour specialist, with a particular passion for botanical illustration. With over 13 years of teaching experience, she combines clear, step-by-step demonstrations with an emphasis on imagination and personal expression. Marta is the founder of an online drawing school and the author of activity books for children, including How to Draw 25 Animals Step-by-Step. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine, Portugal, Spain, and Canada.
